Finding a way to reach your audiences with valuable content
is always top of mind. Right? What about your internal audiences? How often do
you consider the kind of content they need?

Here are three content pieces that you may be overlooking in
internal communications that could prove helpful to your brand.

Company History

How much does your team know about why your company was
formed and the history behind it? Perhaps there are stories from the founders
that could be shared. It is likely that you have testimonials from early
customers that could shed light on your heritage and value proposition. Find a
setting to share this information so your team can carry on the messages and
connect with your past.

Key Milestones

When you reach a key milestone, share that information. From
the number of years in business to national account acquisitions and from key
vertical markets to new innovations, share your success with your team. They
want to know how what they do connects with the company vision. Take time to
creatively share this information with as many of your team members as
possible. Use your intranet, video segments of key leaders or company meetings
to share what you can. Let your team see the progress and share in the journey.

Looking ahead

Your team is looking ahead as much as you are. Help them see
how the moves of today impact the returns of tomorrow. Let them know of
investments you are making in infrastructure or R&D that will pay future
dividends. Help them see the road ahead. Be sure to connect this information
with your company mission and vision as much as possible.

Your internal team is curious and connected. They want to
know reasons to believe in the company value proposition and the directions
taken. Give them the information they need to carry on your message and support
your brand.

How are you currently communicating? Are you offering the content your internal audiences desire?
