A website can change the way you present yourself in the marketplace and the way you do business. At least it should. A great website is not just a digital brochure. A great website starts a conversation and provides an opportunity to deepen relationships. This week in the blog, see how one of OSD’s clients does just that with their new website.
Get to know bo-mar industries

Indianapolis-based bo-mar industries has been fabricating metal products since 1991. If you don’t know much about metal fabrication, you might be surprised to discover how cool it is! Quite simply, metal fabrication is a form of art. Talk to the engineers at bo-mar and you see this artistry. There is an attention to detail hardwired into how they ask questions and develop solutions.
A website that drives conversation
This summer OSD designed and developed a new website for bo-mar industries. The new website was designed to do three things in particular:
1 – Make the personality of the company shine clearly
The new site quickly offers a statement of brand introduction for the organization. On the home page and throughout the site, you immediately get a sense about what makes bo-mar different. You can see that what drives bo-mar is more than an attention to detail – it is an intention.
2 – Help visitors find their path
Simple audience identifiers were used to help visitors get to the information they need quickly. Architects, inventors, manufacturers and engineers quickly self-identify and find landing pages that speak to their unique needs.
3 – Show, don’t tell
Photos are used throughout the site to tell the story of the bo-mar difference. These photos don’t just make the site pretty. They tell stories, demonstrating how bo-mar goes deeper than most and adds value at every stage of a project.
Now, take a look at your website. Does it do these things – or does it just sit there? Think about how you can use your site to draw in visitors, start a conversation and deepen relationships.
